it's time to make some shifts.

let us tell ya how we did it.

my story...

I live in beautiful  Driggs, Idaho  where the outdoors is a playground year round.  I enjoy exploring new country with my husband whether it's in the open air  on the back of our Harley,  visiting a warm tropical country, or towing around our toy hauler  from state to state.

I have 2 grandbabies that I get to watch a couple times a week while my daughter works.  My girls call me grandma "Go-Go" since I have a hard time sitting still.  Can't help it!

I'm a gym owner, fitness trainer, and grandma "go-Go".

I'm Teri.

Hey!

I was frikn' strong!  I loved the way lifting weights increased my confidence in all areas of my life.  I became a gym rat and In 1991 I graduated from Northern Arizona Univeisty with by B.S. in Exercise Science. I started up my first personal training studio in St, Anthony, ID and repeated that when I moved to Teton Valley in 2004. In 2011 I purchased an Anytime Fitness franchise.    My daugthers, Randi and Morgan, followed in my footsteps and are health coaches.  With their passion for personal training and the desire to help more folks get healthy, in 2020 we branded our coaching model and launched Remedy Coaching Services.

and then I realized...

I moved around frequently growing up and was always the new kid on the block. I was never confident enough to go out for team sports in high school and I didn't consider myself an athlete. I took my first weightlifting class in college and fell in love with health and fitness. Lifting weights was empowering!

my story...

I coach and train women in strength & nutrition through Remedy Coaching, which I also co-own with my mom, Teri, and sister, Morgan. I’ve competed in bodybuilding, powerlifting, and after contemplating another competition for a few years, I’ve returned to my original passion for bodybuilding. I achieved my BA in Psychology in 2017 and my NASM personal training certification shortly after.

I’m known for my long-time history in fitness and my passion for lifting heavy weights, but some other things you might not know about me are that I love to read, I enjoy listening to podcasts on all things personal development & self care, I could eat oatmeal every single day for the rest of my life and be ful[filled], I’m a big introvert with a passion for early bed-times, and my golden retriever, Zed, never leaves my side.

I’m an advocate for self-love and I’m passionate about sharing my journey with others and encouraging them to embrace and care for themselves in all areas - not just their physical fitness.

`I'm a strength and  fitness coach and lover of my quiet time.'

I'm Randi.

Hi !

Over the last couple of years I’ve had the honor of coaching both men and women of all ages with goals ranging from strength, body composition change, and weight loss, and in 2021, Remedy Coaching Services launched Ladies Lift - a women’s barbell & strength program. Through our program we’ve helped over 40 women achieve sustainable change in body composition, feel empowered in their health and fitness, and most importantly - feel PROUD of themselves. Remedy was founded on the premise of self love, evidence based practices, and a community of people who want to better themselves in all aspects. I can truly say we’ve built and continue to build just that :)

now I help others...

In 2019 I gained 25 pounds in the span of 3 months as a result of restricting food and, in turn, binge-eating. I would say this is when I hit my breaking point with ‘fitness’ and myself and knew I needed to do things differently. In 2020, instead of focusing on ‘losing the weight’, I learned and practiced taking care of myself daily. I hired a coach who helped me focus on healthy eating behaviors, I started therapy where I focused on accepting myself and my body as is, and I started powerlifting which made me appreciate my body for what it was capable of. The process of changing my thought patterns did take a long time and consistent effort, but it has been 100% worth it. I lift, train, eat, and participate in fitness because I love and care about my body, not because I hate it. Since changing my behaviors with fitness, nutrition, and self-care, I’ve settled into a weight that feels good and is easy to maintain year round. I taught myself that being strong feels so much better than being skinny, that fitness should compliment our lives - not take away from them, and I’m passionate about helping others realize that for themselves, too.

my story...

My three sisters, aka my best friends, and I are fourth generation residents of Teton Valley, Idaho & love being able to call this gem of a place, home.

My boyfriend and I have two dogs that are absolutely considered children, Spud & Judy. My favorite things to do are go on long walks with my dogs, ball out at Costco, and listen to podcasts. I was always active growing up and played various sports but ultimately I despised team sports. I really never considered myself an athlete until I discovered powerlifting in the summer of 2016 while I was living in Salt Lake City, Utah. I quickly became obsessed with the supportive powerlifting community and ended up competing in my first powerlifting meet in December 2016, my life was changed forever! I loved training for strength and being strong made me feel SO good about myself. Four powerlifting meets later, I decided I wanted to become a personal trainer and teach women how to lift heavy & focus on being stronger, not smaller. My mom hired me in 2017 to train at Anytime Fitness and my little sister Bradi, 13 years old at the time, was actually my first strength training client! My passion for health and fitness kept growing and eventually Teri hired Randi at the gym. Working next to Teri & Randi has been beyond inspiring, educational, and just really damn fun.

Hey!

Remedy Coaching launched Ladies Lift group training in February 2021 & our mission was to create a community of badass women who want to feel good about themselves through strength training, we did just that. Most of the women in our program started with little to no gym experience and or/never touched a barbell. The progress I’ve witnessed over the last year is more than physical. The negative self talk got quieter and the positive self talk got louder. Life long friendships have been made right here in our gym. Comfort zones have been stepped out of repeatedly. They keep showing up, they keep trusting the program, and they keep surprising the absolute f*ck out of themselves. I’m beyond honored to coach these women, I cannot wait to see what else they accomplish.

now i get to help other women change their lives...

My personal fitness journey has had so many highs and so many lows. My body has gained weight, lost weight, and battled depression and anxiety. In March 2020, I was at my heaviest weight ever and had terrible body image. My mental health was struggling and in turn my eating habits reflected that. I was having panic attacks on a regular basis, binge eating, and neglecting all aspects of self care. I was so sick & tired of hating my body and soon realized I cannot hate my body into what I wanted it to be. I started walking my dogs every day to get Vitamin D, drinking more water, and fueling my body with nutrient dense foods. My whole lifestyle evolved with me and within three months, I lost 40 pounds sustainably. Since then, I have continued to lift heavy, eat good food, and the habits I developed in 2020 are still with me today. I learned so much about myself along the way and I became a better girlfriend, daughter, sister, and coach.
